Local Circles

Is signing up for a local circle a mandatory requirement?

I do not have a facebook account and it looks like the sign up is only through facebook.

    Being a Developer Circles member is not a requirement to participate or be eligible for prizes. However, we do encourage you to join a nearby Circle or apply to start a Circle. You can find more information here https://developers.facebook.com/developercircles/join
    It is required that each participant at the time of entry and throughout the entire Challenge have Facebook, GitHub, and Devpost online accounts in good standing. Check out the eligibility section of the rules for more information here: https://developercircles2020.devpost.com/rules
