Are we allowed to improve our articles while waiting for the announcement of winners?

In case people started contributing or suggesting edits in our articles, are we allowed to improve it? Or should we wait until regional winners are announced? Thanks :)

    Thank you for participating and submitting your project. The submission due date is now closed so edits to your submission or project might make it ineligible for prizes. Please refrain from editing your projects until after the announcement of the regional winners on November 18th. After the announcement, winners will have an opportunity to update and re-submit their projects until November 30th.
